New Mexico — Part One

My Spring 2015 Solo Ride's first stop was the Palo Duro Canyon for a night under the stars. The next leg of my journey was a round about route to New Mexico to visit my friends Wolf and Spider Boop. They live in a wonder spot where you can hear the river melodically flowing while sitting on the porch enjoying the sunset as you're being entertained by their parrots. Enchanting is putting it mildly. They were kind enough to put up with me for three nights. The first day we trucked it to some very scenic spots. My bone weary body enjoyed the ride and the sights. The "Bikers Grave" was intriguing and the view of the surrounding mountains was an outstanding treat.

The following day, after a couple of photo-op-stops, Wolf and I met up with Chazz and rode about the countryside like we owned it. After a tasty lunch in Madrid we set our sights on elevations high above. I'll have to share with you that part of our adventure in Part Two. I hope you enjoy Part One. Below are a few shots of our quest for road magic — I hope you enjoy the virtual ride as much as we loved doing it.
